Direct answer
For our projects, up to 100 finished units is treated as sample development. The fixed sample-development fee is USD 2,000 and can be credited to the bulk-order payment when the project proceeds to bulk production. The written quotation identifies the development scope, sample quantity, formula work and any project-specific material costs before work begins.
Why a sample order is not priced like a small bulk order
A sample stage carries fixed technical, setup and coordination work even when the finished quantity is small. Its purpose is to resolve formula, sensory, process and packaging questions before the brand commits to bulk production.
A useful sample should have written objectives. Depending on the product, these may include appearance, taste, texture, capsule fill, unit weight, dispersibility or packaging fit. The sample stage should also identify which questions cannot be answered until stability, testing or production-scale work is complete.
